Frequently misunderstood facts
- Board and train and private lessons are different. In board and train, your dog stays and trains with our trainer. In private lessons, you and your dog train together with a trainer at our facility.
- Aggression work has its own programs. The 2 Week Board and Train (Aggressive Dog) ($3,600) and Aggressive Dog Training ($1,300, eight private lessons) are built for dogs with aggression or reactivity. Nobody can promise a complete fix for major behavior issues such as aggression toward dogs or people; we give you control and help you manage them.
- Reactivity is not the same as aggression. Reactive dogs overreact to certain things or situations, often out of fear. Tell us what your dog does and we will recommend the right program.
- Programs have age limits. Basic Obedience and the two-week board and train programs are for dogs 6 months or older. The puppy programs are for puppies under 5 months.
- Lessons need practice at home. Lesson packages ask for 45 minutes of practice a day between sessions.
- Advanced Lessons come after the full package. Single Advanced Lessons ($100 each) are available once you finish the Basic and Advanced Obedience package.
- Therapy Dog Preparation starts with an evaluation. An evaluation at the first lesson is required.

Good to know
- Every program starts with a free phone consultation.
- We train with an e-collar used like a tap on the shoulder to get your dog's attention, never as punishment or a "shock." At the first meeting we put it on your arm so you can feel how mild it is.
- Your dog will not always have to wear the e-collar; we recommend it outside off leash.
- You do not need a set block of training time each day; we show you how to fit training into your daily routine.
- Refund and cancellation terms are on our Refunds and Cancellations page.
